2016 Carrot Queen, Princess, & Jr. Princess

 

Contestant and parents must register at the Holtville Chamber of Commerce located at 101 W. 5th St. Holtville.

Contest Rules:
Contest is open to students who live in the Holtville area.

Age groups:
Jr. Princess: 5-10 years old (must be 5 years old by January 31, 2016)
Princess: 11-14 years old (must be 11 years old by January 31, 2016)
Queen: 15-20 years old ( must be 15 years old by January 31, 2016)

Contestants must submit a picture and a short biography for chamber marketing use. The Chamber must have your entry form with your short bio and picture before you are able to get tickets.  

Contestants are responsible for all tickets assigned to them.

The Queen, Princess, and Jr. Princess will a be required to participate in other the following events:
        
Carrot Festival Events
Carrot Cookery Contests- Monday Feb. 1st through Friday Feb. 5th for award presentations
Carrot Parade and trophy presentations at Holt Park - Saturday Feb. 6th
​Chamber Booth and award presentations- Sunday Feb. 7th

Other Chamber Events
​Holtville Easter Egg Hunt
Holtville Christmas in the Park
​Holtville Chamber mixers that are held throughout the year
Holtville 2017 Carrot Festival Banquet
Optional: Brawley Cattle Call Parade, El Centro Christmas Parade

All of the runners- up are required to participate in the 2016 year Carrot Parade. The 1st runner up will take over the duties if the winner is unable to fulfill her commitment.

All of the contestants are to attend the Holtville Chamber of Commerce's Award Banquet to be ​held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Imperial Palms Resort at Barbara Worth
